Valhall AwaitsThe noise of crumbling halls and falling stone filtered through the dense roof above their heads. Several loud thuds rained dust down on their iron-clad heads. The stairs steadily descended at a steep angle, the rocks roughly hewn, the walls jagged and barely flat in some places. It was clear this path was not for frequent travel. The siege had been going for three days. Three blood-filled, merciless days without a moment’s rest. It was not the blade of the enemy, but fatigue that caused the death of so many, and the enemy were soon at the keep’s doors. There was only one chance left.
